Supported Employment Specialists (SES) play a key role in facilitating the full community and workplace inclusion, both socially and economically, of diverse individuals with complex employment considerations. SES work in partnership with job seekers and employers to provide individualized supports that value the choice and control of individuals while meeting the real employment needs of employers. Grounded in established best practices, this foundational course will refine students’ understanding of supported employment to benefit both work-seeking individuals and employers or contractors.
