As key career influencers, primary and secondary teachers play an integral role shaping their students’ understanding of “career.” Through age- and grade-appropriate career-focused activities, lessons, and interventions, teachers can transform the education environment and empower young people to build career development skills and thrive in work, life, and learning.

This course provides an overview of the career development process for young people rooted in career development foundations, emerging theories, and models. Teachers will leave equipped to infuse a culture of career development within their classroom, their educational system, and their larger professional community.
