The Career Coaching Skills on-demand bundle requires the completion of the following self-paced modules:

  • Career Coaching: Roles & Responsibilities (5 hours)
  • Career Coaching Frameworks & Models (3 hours)
  • Virtual Career Coaching (2 hours)
  • Goal Setting (3 hours)
  • Action Planning (2 hours)
  • Monitoring Progress (3 hours)
  • Quality Improvements in Career Coaching (2 hours)

Students are welcome to take individual modules based on their training needs; however, the modules can be bundled to receive credit for the full 20-hour, Career Coaching Skills.  Although the self-paced modules are independent of each other and can be completed in any order, for those aiming to complete the full CMPP Bundle, we do recommend completing in the order listed here.

This module will focus on developing strategies to action findings from feedback and evaluations in meaningful ways.
This module will explore how CDPs can effectively monitor and evaluate client progress within coaching relationships. Through practical tracking strategies, holistic evaluation frameworks, and barrier-aware methods, students will gain the tools needed to foster goal alignment, detect challenges early, and celebrate meaningful outcomes.
This module will dive into the art and science of creating client-centered action plans within the career development process. Students will explore practical strategies, inclusive approaches, and digital tools to support co-creating realistic, adaptable plans that help clients turn career goals into tangible outcomes.
This module explores goal setting as a dynamic and adaptable component of the career coaching process. Students will review structured models, creative strategies, and client-centered techniques to support clients in setting meaningful, actionable goals.

This module explores the professional responsibilities of career coaches in tech-enabled environments and virtual service delivery. Students will examine the effectiveness, challenges, and ethical considerations associated with online practice.

This module explores the career coaching process with an emphasis on tailoring approaches to individual readiness, style, and context. Students will become familiar with several coaching models, examining their flexibility and effectiveness in diverse client interactions.
This module seeks to refine your understanding of career coaching as a distinct, but interconnected, practice from career counselling. Learners will explore their own coaching styles, gain clarity on ethical boundaries and scope of practice, and examine how diversity and adaptability influence coaching effectiveness.
