Welcome to the Ethics and Professional Conduct study support package.

Welcome to the Career Development & Employment Services Administration self-study support package. Here you will prepare for your role and structure your work within the case management framework endorsed by Indigenous Services Canada and your nation. Since the general case management framework parallels the Alberta government’s approach to service, this means you will be learning processes and procedures that will work well beyond a particular funding program or your community.

Welcome to the Career Development in Community self-study support resource for participants who missed portions of the face-to-face course. Here you will learn how career development services connect and contribute to other services and outcomes in your community. The aim is to help you “connect the dots” between the help you provide clients, the other help they need, the other players who provide that help, and how it all comes together to benefit the community. The more you know about the overall impact of your work, the better you’ll be able to make decisions about how to perform your work.

Building on the Foundations of Assessment and Assessment: Investing in Strengths courses, which participants are expected to have successfully completed, this 15-hour, self-paced course will provide a review of key concepts and strengthen interviewing and assessment skills.
