Life Strategies LearnOnline
The Career Development Foundations, Emerging Theories, and Models on-demand bundle requires the completion of the following self-paced modules:
- Foundational Theories (5 hours)
- Career Responsiveness (5 hours)
- Constructing Careers (5 hours)
- Working with Theory (5 hours)
Students are welcome to take individual modules based on their training needs; however, the modules can be bundled to receive credit for the full 20-hour, Career Development Foundations, Emerging Theories, and Models. Although the self-paced modules are independent of each other and can be completed in any order, for those aiming to complete the full CMPP Bundle, we do recommend completing in the order listed here.
Upon completion of the full bundle, please email studentadvisor@lifestrategies.ca to verify your completion of 4 required modules.
In this module, you will explore key career development concepts and foundational theories that guide career development professionals in supporting their clients. You will learn about the evolution of career theories – from traditional Trait-Factor approaches to developmental and life-role models – and how these frameworks help us understand and facilitate career decision making.
